Gathering in your backyard for a barbeque with your friends is a great time. You all get to enjoy the outdoors, the fresh air, great food, and great company. Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. 80/20 ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Directions:

Fire up the grill so it can warm up to perfect grilling temperature. While you’re waiting, use your hands mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until evenly mixed. Press the mixture into a burger press to make the patties, then throw them on the grill. Grill for 12-14 minutes, turning once. Resist the temptation to press the burgers flat, as this will dry them out. 

About a minute or two before you are finished cooking, brush the tops of the burgers with a little more barbecue sauce. Then remove them from the grill and serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
