Anna SmithWith so many products on the market, it can be hard to choose the best options to help improve the health of your hair. Some of these products aren’t actually good for this purpose and can result in your hair getting in worse condition. Thankfully, there are some natural botanicals that can help increase your hair’s health without destroying it any further. With that said, here are three common botanical ingredients that can be used to make your hair strong and beautiful.
Camellia Flower Oil
The first botanical that can be used for your hair is called camellia flower oil. According to Artego, camellia flower seeds come from the tea plant, which is rich in vitamins A, B, and E and prevents skin and hair aging and dehydration. In addition, it can help grow your hair quicker and stronger than many other products. As a result of this, several companies have started putting it in some of their products. It’s no wonder the Japanese culture has incorporated this ingredient for many years.
Green Tea
You could also use green tea. According to Japanese Green Tea Co., green tea has many health benefits because this botanical is full of catechins, which helps reduce dihydrotestosterone, or DTH. Many people don’t realize it, but DTH is what is responsible for hair loss. In addition to helping reduce the loss of hair, green tea also helps get rid of dryness and reduce the amount of dandruff on your scalp. Another ingredient found in green tea is called polyphenol, which is great for the roots and follicles. This can also lead to an increase in the regrowth of your hair.
Hops
Another beneficial ingredient comes from the flowers of the hop plant. One of the biggest benefits of using hops is that it can reduce inflammation and dryness. This means your scalp should be less itchy and sore. You can also expect to experience less dandruff and get a new shine to your hair. Hops have been used for many years, so it’s no wonder that more and more companies are including it in their products.
These are a few of the options when it comes to botanical ingredients, and there are quite a few more that have great benefits for your hair. If you use these and experience visible results, you could try adding a few others to see what they do for your hair. The most important thing is to get your hair as healthy as possible without making it worse or drying it out. With that said, make sure you aren’t overloading your hair because it could cause the opposite of what you’re trying to do.

Are you trying to grow out your hair? Most of us spend a lot of time and money making sure our hair is just right, but when it doesn’t grow out healthy, all of the hair products in the world won’t do much to fix it. Fortunately taking care of your hair from the inside out really isn’t that hard. If you are on a quest to make your hair grow longer, stronger and shinier, then these tips are for you.
Eat Right
Just as good nutrition makes our body healthier, it makes our hair healthier also. By focusing on healthy foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables and good lean sources of protein, we give our body the building blocks it needs to be strong — which usually means better hair, too. But of course there are certain foods that are better than others for hair health:
- Fish
- Olive oil
- Flax seeds
- Nuts
These foods are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, a nutrient well known to enhance hair growth. Taking a biotin supplement is also a good move if you’re growing out your hair.
Moisturize
Regularly applying moisturizing hair masks does a lot of reduce minor damage and maintain healthy hair, making sure it grows out strong and beautiful. Make an herbal oil mask by mixing a quarter cup of castor oil and olive or coconut oil with a few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance. Mix and massage into the scalp and let sit for about a half hour. Then, shampoo hair as usual. An egg mask can be made by mixing one egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and a cup of milk. After mixing well, apply and massage into scalp, allowing it to rest a half hour before shampooing.
Avoid Heat & Chemicals
Many of us use bleaches and dyes to change the color of our hair, and over time these can take a toll on the hair strands. Permanents and chemical relaxers are used by many and these also cause damage. It is important to limit these processes and keep hair as healthy as possible. It is also important to try to minimize the damage done from daily hair drying and straightening or curling irons. If you must relax your hair, using gentle at-home hair relaxer kits can be less damaging than salon treatments, and thereby be more successful in helping your hair grow out.
Boar bristle brushes and coated elastics can also help maintain and promote hair length by preventing breakage.
We can help our hair grow out long and strong by following a few of these suggestions. Using moisturizing hair masks, wholesome foods, and gentler chemicals are three hard and fast rules to keep in mind as you wait — and you might notice some changes to your overall health, as well. By taking care of our hair from the inside out, our hair will be shining, resilient, and as long as you want.

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]on’t act so surprised, Your Highness. You weren’t on any mercy mission this time. Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by Rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you. In my experience, there is no such thing as luck. Partially, but it also obeys your commands. I want to come with you to Alderaan. There’s nothing for me here now. I want to learn the ways of the Force and be a Jedi, like my father before me. The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.
Still, she’s got a lot of spirit. I don’t know, what do you think? What!? I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan– What good is a reward if you ain’t around to use it? Besides, attacking that battle station ain’t my idea of courage. It’s more like…suicide.
You don’t believe in the Force, do you? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. I call it luck. Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you’re going. What?! The Force is strong with this one. I have you now.
We hire people who want to make the best things in the world. -Steve Jobs
She must have hidden the plans in the escape pod. Send a detachment down to retrieve them, and see to it personally, Commander. There’ll be no one to stop us this time! You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! Partially, but it also obeys your commands.
- Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.
- He is here.
- Don’t underestimate the Force.

I care. So, what do you think of her, Han? A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master. But with the blast shield down, I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. But with the blast shield down, I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away!

Revenge of the Sith
Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them. He is here. What?! Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. I’m trying not to, kid.
I’m trying not to, kid. I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base. He is here. You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away! Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.

Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There’s no mystical energy field that controls my destiny. It’s all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense. Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him. He is here. Ye-ha! I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base.

Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Look, I ain’t in this for your revolution, and I’m not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I’m in it for the money. A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master.
All right. Well, take care of yourself, Han. I guess that’s what you’re best at, ain’t it? Alderaan? I’m not going to Alderaan. I’ve got to go home. It’s late, I’m in for it as it is. The plans you refer to will soon be back in our hands.

I need your help, Luke. She needs your help. I’m getting too old for this sort of thing. Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. No! Alderaan is peaceful. We have no weapons. You can’t possibly… As you wish. Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you’re going.
I suggest you try it again, Luke. This time, let go your conscious self and act on instinct. Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine. You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! I’m surprised you had the courage to take the responsibility yourself. I’m trying not to, kid.
