Anna SmithIf you have limited time to get ready in the morning, these makeup hacks were designed with you in mind. You will love saving time, purchasing fewer products, and still putting your best face forward each day.
Use Multipurpose Products
Monochromatic makeup looks have seen a resurgence in popularity, which makes multipurpose products trendy and useful. You can cut the amount of money you spend and save time by investing in a combination blush, lip color, and eyeshadow. These tend to come in neutral shades, making your makeup look perfect for any occasion.
Use BB Cream
If you need a good foundation that will also act as a concealer, find a BB cream that works for you. BB cream is a smart way to moisturize the skin, cover blemishes, and even out the skin tone. As a bonus, many BB creams do not require setting powder and will not streak or run throughout the day. This useful alternative to a traditional foundation is a great way to save time and money.
Try Semi-Permanent Makeup
Semi-permanent makeup can eliminate a lot of time getting ready in the morning because you no longer need to worry about that part of your face. One of the most popular forms of semi-permanent makeup is microblading. Microblading adds volume and definition to thin and sparse eyebrow hairs by implanting pigment to look like hair. Microblading allows you to have perfect eyebrows without the work and can save you several minutes from your makeup routine each day.
Choose One Focal Point
Instead of attempting to create a full-face makeup look, why not choose one focal point and keep the rest of your face simple? This strategy will prevent you from looking overdone and can save you much needed time from your makeup routine. For example, opt for a smokey eye and do a simple nude lip or go all out with a red lip and only do a light eye — the choices are endless.
Use Cream Products
If you are really in a time crunch, you can skip the need for makeup brushes altogether by investing in cream products such as cream eyeshadow, blush, and contouring color. Cream formulas are easy to apply and blend with your fingertips. Best of all, they are long-lasting and tend to not look cakey or dry throughout the day.
If you always feel like you are running late in the morning, you can easily reduce your stress by saving time with these smart makeup hacks. Put them to the test today.

Growing Out Your Hair? Natural Remedies to Help You Go the Distance

Are you trying to grow out your hair? Most of us spend a lot of time and money making sure our hair is just right, but when it doesn’t grow out healthy, all of the hair products in the world won’t do much to fix it. Fortunately taking care of your hair from the inside out really isn’t that hard. If you are on a quest to make your hair grow longer, stronger and shinier, then these tips are for you.
Eat Right
Just as good nutrition makes our body healthier, it makes our hair healthier also. By focusing on healthy foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables and good lean sources of protein, we give our body the building blocks it needs to be strong — which usually means better hair, too. But of course there are certain foods that are better than others for hair health:
- Fish
- Olive oil
- Flax seeds
- Nuts
These foods are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, a nutrient well known to enhance hair growth. Taking a biotin supplement is also a good move if you’re growing out your hair.
Moisturize
Regularly applying moisturizing hair masks does a lot of reduce minor damage and maintain healthy hair, making sure it grows out strong and beautiful. Make an herbal oil mask by mixing a quarter cup of castor oil and olive or coconut oil with a few drops of your favorite essential oil for fragrance. Mix and massage into the scalp and let sit for about a half hour. Then, shampoo hair as usual. An egg mask can be made by mixing one egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and a cup of milk. After mixing well, apply and massage into scalp, allowing it to rest a half hour before shampooing.
Avoid Heat & Chemicals
Many of us use bleaches and dyes to change the color of our hair, and over time these can take a toll on the hair strands. Permanents and chemical relaxers are used by many and these also cause damage. It is important to limit these processes and keep hair as healthy as possible. It is also important to try to minimize the damage done from daily hair drying and straightening or curling irons. If you must relax your hair, using gentle at-home hair relaxer kits can be less damaging than salon treatments, and thereby be more successful in helping your hair grow out.
Boar bristle brushes and coated elastics can also help maintain and promote hair length by preventing breakage.
We can help our hair grow out long and strong by following a few of these suggestions. Using moisturizing hair masks, wholesome foods, and gentler chemicals are three hard and fast rules to keep in mind as you wait — and you might notice some changes to your overall health, as well. By taking care of our hair from the inside out, our hair will be shining, resilient, and as long as you want.

Everyone has flaws that make them concerned, afraid, or embarrassed. However, it’s very important to feel confident in the skin that you’re in to live happier, confident, and even healthier lives. So how can you make the best of what you have to look and feel better than ever before?
Accentuate What You Love About Yourself
While one body feature may not be your favorite, there are likely others that you enjoy about yourself. For example, if you have beautiful blue eyes, then wearing certain hues will make your baby blues stand out. Perhaps you have a lovely neck so you can wear your hair up and accentuate it with beautiful necklaces.
Make a list of what you like about yourself and how you can draw the eye to those areas. Focusing on what you love about yourself rather than what you don’t like about yourself can make you feel more confident and enjoy what you can show off.
Don’t Base Your Worth on Others’ Standards
It’s easy to fall into the trap of wondering whether you measure up to other people’s beauty standards. The truth of the matter is that these standards are changing all the time. One beauty trend comes in, and another falls by the wayside. Other standards are impossible to meet. Accept yourself as you are and set your own standards for yourself.
Compliment Yourself Daily
Negative self-thinking can really affect a person’s self-esteem negatively. Don’t become a victim of negative self-thinking. Praise yourself for how well you take care of yourself, on the merits of your personality, and even the things you don’t like about yourself. When you start feeling negative about yourself, review the things that you are good at. You are your own worst critic, so don’t beat yourself up for your perceived flaws. You’d be surprised at how positive self-praise can change your outlook on the way you look and feel.
Know When to Seek Treatment
Some perceived flaws can also be healthcare red flags. For example, not only are varicose veins unsightly, but they can become quite painful and restrict your mobility as well. Know when you should seek treatment before something gets worse or affects your mental or physical health. Take care of your body and mind to be the best person you can be.
Being able to accept yourself, flaws and all, is extremely important to build self-esteem and confidence. It’s important to know what your best features are, to hold yourself to your own realistic standards, and to avoid negative thinking. However, you should always know when to seek treatment for certain issues that you may have. You’re worth the effort!

[dropcap]D[/dropcap]on’t act so surprised, Your Highness. You weren’t on any mercy mission this time. Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by Rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you. In my experience, there is no such thing as luck. Partially, but it also obeys your commands. I want to come with you to Alderaan. There’s nothing for me here now. I want to learn the ways of the Force and be a Jedi, like my father before me. The more you tighten your grip, Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.
Still, she’s got a lot of spirit. I don’t know, what do you think? What!? I don’t know what you’re talking about. I am a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan– What good is a reward if you ain’t around to use it? Besides, attacking that battle station ain’t my idea of courage. It’s more like…suicide.
You don’t believe in the Force, do you? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. I call it luck. Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you’re going. What?! The Force is strong with this one. I have you now.
We hire people who want to make the best things in the world. -Steve Jobs
She must have hidden the plans in the escape pod. Send a detachment down to retrieve them, and see to it personally, Commander. There’ll be no one to stop us this time! You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! Partially, but it also obeys your commands.
- Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.
- He is here.
- Don’t underestimate the Force.

I care. So, what do you think of her, Han? A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master. But with the blast shield down, I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? Obi-Wan is here. The Force is with him. But with the blast shield down, I can’t even see! How am I supposed to fight? You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away!

Revenge of the Sith
Your eyes can deceive you. Don’t trust them. He is here. What?! Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. I’m trying not to, kid.
I’m trying not to, kid. I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base. He is here. You are a part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor! Take her away! Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine.

Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I’ve seen a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything. There’s no mystical energy field that controls my destiny. It’s all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense. Remember, a Jedi can feel the Force flowing through him. He is here. Ye-ha! I have traced the Rebel spies to her. Now she is my only link to finding their secret base.

Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Look, I ain’t in this for your revolution, and I’m not in it for you, Princess. I expect to be well paid. I’m in it for the money. A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master.
All right. Well, take care of yourself, Han. I guess that’s what you’re best at, ain’t it? Alderaan? I’m not going to Alderaan. I’ve got to go home. It’s late, I’m in for it as it is. The plans you refer to will soon be back in our hands.

I need your help, Luke. She needs your help. I’m getting too old for this sort of thing. Oh God, my uncle. How am I ever gonna explain this? Hey, Luke! May the Force be with you. No! Alderaan is peaceful. We have no weapons. You can’t possibly… As you wish. Look, I can take you as far as Anchorhead. You can get a transport there to Mos Eisley or wherever you’re going.
I suggest you try it again, Luke. This time, let go your conscious self and act on instinct. Dantooine. They’re on Dantooine. You’re all clear, kid. Let’s blow this thing and go home! I’m surprised you had the courage to take the responsibility yourself. I’m trying not to, kid.
